Vertafore has launched the AMS360 version 4.0 management system with advancements to simplify marketing and sales tasks for more than 2,800 agencies currently using the product.
“The enhanced sales and marketing capabilities in version 4.0 help agencies more easily cross-market products and remind customers about adding coverage,” Gytis Barzdukas said, vice president, product management for Vertafore Agency Markets.
The major enhancements in AMS360 version 4.0 include:
• Generate enhanced cross-sell opportunities based on coverage: identify coverage gaps, streamline account rounding and market to your existing customer base with the ability to pull target lists based on coverage.
• Create documents quickly: produce tailored schedules and streamline proposal templates using the familiar Microsoft Office Word interface with a new design tool that provides greater flexibility and expanded customization options.
• Group activities by type: enhance workflow with expanded grouping options, such as the ability to group all commission reports within each company by year or group all renewal quotes for any given year within a renewal quote folder.
• Improve performance and scalability: gain technology enhancements with several third-party software updates including an upgrade to Microsoft SQL 2008 and Windows Server 2008, support for Windows 7, Office 2007 and an update to Internet Explorer 8.
AMS360 version 4.0 also includes an enhanced Web services toolkit, enabling agencies to integrate third party applications with the management system to share data and operate more efficiently.
