Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Itasca, Ill., expanded its territory with two recent acquisitions: Nourse Insurance Brokers Inc., Walnut Creek, Calif., and Walker Taylor Agency, Wilmington, N.C.
Nourse Insurance Brokers Inc. is a retail insurance broker offering both personal and commercial property/casualty insurance products and services to their clients. The agency will continue to operate out of the Walnut Creek location under the management of James G. McFarlane, the west coast regional manager of Gallagher’s retail property and casualty brokerages.
Walker Taylor Agency Inc. is a retail insurance broker offering risk management and property/casualty insurance services to their mid-to-large commercial and personal clients throughout the United States. It specializes in the life sciences, technology, coastal property and other complex casualty business. The agency will continue to operate in its current location under the direction of Mitchel Brashier, Southeastern regional manager of Gallagher's retail property/casualty brokerage operation.
